Collecting Watches For Fun

If you have more than seven watches you should consider yourself a watch collector. Even seven sounds so few you like buying different watches. Whether you buy them for fun or if you’re received them as gifts, it is known that you have a love for watches. I first came to realize as a child my love for watches. The very first watch that I noticed was in a summer camp when I was about 7 years old.

What struck my eye was that the little girl who was wearing it was about my age. The watches crystal was shaped like a bubble on top. I thought to myself “WOW” that’s pretty neat. Ever since then that watch has always been in the back of my mind and thus started my collection of watches.

I find collecting watches really fun especially when they are given as gifts to me. Not all of the watch gifts that I receive are my taste BUT I appreciate and add them to my collection. At my last count I was at 60+ (December 25th, 2007).

Over the past few years there has been a slack of watches in my collection so as you can tell I’m not obsessive about collecting but I’m an active collector. At one point I had at least a new watch per year.
