This watch is a collectors item from the Davis Cup 2003 which was held in Melbourne,Australia. The winners were Australia and runner up was Spain. This watch is to celebrate the runner up’s Spain which you can see by the colors Red and Gold to represent the country flag of Spain. The watch is made by the American company Fossil and it use to be one my top favorites.

The watch band is high quality thick leather and black. The dial of the watch is white with Red and Gold paint swabs dashing horizontally. The border is silver and at the top engraved in silver is “Davis Cup Final ‘03” and at the bottom “Spain - Australia“. Being the tennis fan that I am, I picked it up fast when I was shopping around Big Lots in my area. I believe it cost me $10.00 at the time which is a steal for any watch collector! This year Spain is in the Davis Cup Finals against Argentina, November 21st-23rd 2008 in Argentina! It should be a great final.

I now have this watch in my frequently used watches after several years of mini retirement :). The watch battery is the normal size: 636
