It was a gift in the early 90's It was one of my favorite pieces. It takes a special band that I have never seen before that I had ordered once from Timex, I will order another if I am able to. The bands don't seem to last unfortunately. The large battery in it is marked CR2016 but on the back plate is FA2016. I don't remember if I had it changed at an earlier time. There is also a very thin O-ring that goes between the backplate and the watch that I would like to replace. I am going to find out more from Timex about it and with luck get it working as original.
